Hailed by the Holy fashion publication WWD as "ones to watch" for 2012, I am super excited to share this new brand with my readers! After viewing their lookbook below, I think you will all agree that we want to see lots more from new urban wear clothing line GUNS. GERMS. $TEAL. This much buzzed about brand was created rather unintentially by twenty-something, 6ft. tall college students and models turned designers, Smiley Stevens and Philippa Price.
According to the girls, "Philippa took metalworking in school and Smiley used to sneak into the metal studio at Parsons and we would basically work there until someone noticed Smiley and made us leave! We were only really making the wallets for our friends until May of this year, when we suddenly got a lot of press and we pretty much made our company over night. We put all of our money that we made from our initial wallet sales in May back into creating a full collection of new jewelry pieces and clothes"
According to the website, the line is designed for the man who breeds a blend of conventionally contrasting styles – from classic gentleman to straight-up gangster, and everything in between. Driven by a strong desire to discover, reinvent and merge our history with the present day –
